The equipment that makes
your project look different
Every SKYLUX project is shot with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro — a triple-camera Hasselblad system that produces
cinema-grade aerial imagery. Not because it's impressive on paper, but because the difference is visible in your final content.

Why equipment quality matters
Not all drone footage looks the same
Most people can't name the camera that shot a photo. But they can feel the difference between content that looks professional and content that looks like a hobby project — even if they can't explain why.
That difference comes from sensor size, lens quality, colour science, and dynamic range. The Mavic 4 Pro with Hasselblad optics produces a quality that makes your property, vessel, or brand look categorically different from footage shot on a consumer drone.
1.
Larger sensor = more light = Better colour
The 4/3" Hasselblad sensor captures significantly more light than standard drone sensors — meaning richer colours, cleaner shadows, and detail that holds up in print and large-format display.
2.
Variable aperture = control over every condition
Most drones have a fixed aperture. The Mavic 4 Pro adjusts from f/2.0 to f/11 — giving your pilot real exposure control in bright midday sun, golden hour backlight, or overcast skies.
3.
Three focal lengths = three creative perspectives
28mm for wide establishing shots. 70mm for detailed mid-range. 168mm for compressed telephoto — pulling the horizon closer and creating depth that wide-angle alone can't produce. One flight, three cameras.

Wide angle - Hasselblad - 100MP
The shot that shows everything — property, horizon, and coastline
in a single frame
The wide Hasselblad captures the full context of your project: the property's relationship to the beach, the yacht in its marina setting, the venue's scale against its surroundings. It's the establishing shot that no ground-level camera can replace.
BEST FOR
-
Establishing shots — property to beachfront
-
Full venue or development overview
-
Scale shots — yacht in open water
-
Golden hour wide landscapes
70mm
Medium telephoto - 48MP
The shot that shows detail — architecture, surfaces, and design without distortion
At 70mm, the medium tele compresses perspective naturally — showing a property's architectural detail or a vessel's profile in the way the eye actually sees it. No wide-angle distortion, no exaggerated proportions. Just clean, balanced composition.
BEST FOR
-
Architectural detail and façade shots
-
Yacht profile and side elevation
Pool, terrace, and outdoor living areas -
Medium tracking shots of moving subjects
168mm
Long telephoto - 50MP
The shot that creates depth — pulling the horizon closer and making everything feel more dramatic
The 168mm telephoto is what creates that cinematic compression you see in high-end film and commercial photography — where background elements feel closer, depth is exaggerated, and the subject is isolated against a rich, out-of-focus backdrop. Impossible to fake in post.
BEST FOR
-
Cinematic horizon compression shots
-
Isolated subject against water or skyline
-
Tracking shots of yachts at distance
-
Social media hero frames — Instagram reels
